About Us

Introduction:

Supporting Children Initiative Foundation (SCIF Nepal) is a non-profit social organization located in Kirtipur-06, Chobhar, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is registered with the Nepal Government as a company not distributing profit, affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, and licensed by the National Child Rights Council of Nepal.

SCIF Nepal provides a protected, secure environment offering emergency and long-term shelter services to at-risk, orphaned, destitute, abandoned, needy, and poor children, as well as victims of domestic violence. SCIF provides children a place to get away from destructive lifestyles, offering a place to heal, learn, grow and ultimately become productive members of society.

Our Vision:

This is an especially important step for us as some of our children are challenged in their studies despite trying extremely hard, hence we are creating job opportunities for them when they graduate from school so that they will be able to support themselves in the future; and perhaps even continue the legacy of the orphanage they once grew up in.
