The kids are studying at High Land English School located at Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal, located opposite our house, with only 1 minute walk across the street. This is good for us, but, what is not good is = The school demands 3 sets of school uniforms for each kids.
The school needs us to buy 3 sets of school uniform for each kids.
The uniforms are as per the pictures below, in Yellow Green, Red, and Green (for sports). These uniforms are a “Must” = “compulsory” , and this is rule from the school. Every students must have 3 set of uniforms.
School is making a lot of money from the kids’ parents and us (as as these kids parent). However, no choice but to buy.
This is a huge expenses for the house as each set of uniform for each kid cost us around USD 15 (1500 NPR)
13 kids x USD 15 x 3 = USD 585.
And this USD 585 is exclusive of socks, shoes , school bag etc…. hmm.. we need your help for next year school uniform…
And, we need volunteer in Nepal to teach these kids “English” and to accompany to finish the school homework. The house staffs dont speak English well, and me – Angie, I am not in Nepal and can’t spend time with them even I want.
