Community Support and Outreach Program

Community Support and Outreach program was initiated by SCIF Nepal from Jan 2026. The reason of this initiation is to share and support little things which may help to community. Specifically, for village school children and community school at village and hill site in Nepal. The concept was come during our village trip in westNepal. The students of hill site, they are still having lacking in uniforms, note books, bags, pen, pencils and other educational materials. Many of their parents and relatives requested to us to bring them
Kathmandu and send English medium school in city. But it was not possible for us to bring everyone and
send the English medium school. We thought that we can’t bring them Kathmandu but we can assist
them at their own place for their study and learning and also support their school anyway we can.
Our concepts to support in community are:

• To distribute school uniforms, stationery materials and other materials to village school
  children. We prioritize orphans, semi-orphans and needy children.
• To support to community school to improve their class rooms and school environment child
  friendly. For example, class room painting, providing teaching materials, drinking water
  management at school and providing school meals as possible.
• To organize medical camps for school children. For example, dental camp, general health
  checkup and eye screening camp.
• To support to improve the English at community school. For example, conducting English lessons
  physically or through online, send the English volunteer teachers as possible.
• To Build a mini libraries, book corners and computer labs at community school.
  Projects/ Programs Completed till now:

1. Supported Stationary Materials to 36 students at Shree Batshala Devi School, Makawanpur,
   Nepal.

2. Supported School Uniforms to 27 children at Shree Basic School Danduge, Rukum (West), Nepal.

3. Supported teaching learning and classroom management materials (White boards, stationary items, dustbins and Carpet for play groups) at Shree Janakalyan Secondary School, Rukum (West) Nepal:

Upcoming Project:

We have committed to build mini library, computer lab and water reserve tank at Shree Balkalyan Primary School, West Rukum, Nepal. This should be done until middle of June.

Source of Founding:

We have initiated this program from the contribution of SCIF team, volunteers and our friends. If any individual or organization is interested to be part of the program, anyone is welcome to collaboration for this program.
